The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ featured one of the principal highlight of Partner Pferd Leipzig 2026 showjumping schedule, attracting a deep field and producing a fast and selective jump-off. Accross the 13 fence track, only 11 combinations delivered penalty free rounds to earn their space in the jump-off. Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat delivered the winning jump-off round on Albfuehren’s Iashin Sitte, setting an early target that proved unbeatable. Starting first in the jump-off, Guerdat combined controlled speed with precise navigation through the decisive lines, stopping the clock on a mark that later challengers could not surpass.

Second place went to Simon Delestre (FRA) riding Gatsby du Tillard, who produced a clear effort but ultimately crossed the finish line behind the leader. Completing the podium, Gerrit Nieberg (GER) finished third aboard Ping Pong, showing strong competitive form for the host nation. Eleven of the original forty-strong field qualified for the jump-off after fault-free first rounds, underscoring both the quality and depth of the class.

Alongside tactical riding and speed, this World Cup class reaffirmed Leipzig’s role as a significant stage within the Western European League series, with riders vying for valuable points and momentum as the indoor campaign continues.

CSI5*-W Championat der Stadt Leipzig

On Saturday evening at Partner Pferd Leipzig 2026, the CSI5*-W Championat der Stadt Leipzig produced a competitive jump-off. In a class that tested both scope and tactical judgement, Steve Guerdat and Is-Minka delivered a standout performance to take victory. Their round combined forward balance through the combinations and especially quick, efficient turns when it mattered most, allowing them to set a mark that proved unbeatable in the jump-off of 16 combinations. The podium was completed by the Host Nation’s Nieberg and IB Queen in second, with Rik Hemeryck (BEL) and Navarro van het Eelshof in third.

FEI Driving World Cup™ Leipzig

The FEI Driving World Cup™ delivered one of the principal highlights of the Partner Pferd Leipzig 2026 programme, drawing a strong field of four-in-hand drivers and producing a demanding competition that rewarded precision, rhythm and strategic execution. Belgium’s Dries Degrieck (BEL) claimed victory after delivering the most complete performance across the course, combining controlled speed with accurate lines through the obstacles to set a standard that proved decisive.

Degrieck’s drive was characterised by efficiency and composure, allowing him to maintain momentum while minimising penalties in a class where small errors carried immediate consequences. His winning performance placed him firmly at the top of the results on a night where consistency was paramount.

Second place went to Boyd Exell (AUS), who delivered a strong and competitive drive with his four-in-hand team but was unable to match the winning score. Completing the podium, Bram Chardon (NED) finished third after producing a disciplined performance that secured his place among the leading drivers of the evening. The close margins across the field underlined both the quality and depth of competition present in Leipzig.

Alongside speed and technical accuracy, the driving competition reinforced Leipzig’s importance within the FEI Driving World Cup™ series, as drivers contested valuable points and positioning within a tightly contested indoor circuit, ahead of the final in Bordeaux.
